Monk goes Tank?!
heya!
I have a question,, i've got a monk tank build from a friend and it's working amazing!
But the engery mangement is still a little problem!
Could anyone give an opinion about my following build?
here are the skillz:
- Divine Spirit.
- Protective Spirit.
- Life Sheath.
- Reversal of Fortune.
- Shield of Absorption.
- Guardian.
- Dismiss Condition.
- Rebirth/Rezz sign.
I don't know if this build allready excist.
Please tell me your opinion.. I used it in many different area's.

as long as there are no enchants sure. but why tank with a monk? a monk can be much more usefull then standing there doing self heals =/

To be honest, to tank as a monk you only really need guardian, spell breaker, and some sort of healing skill in case something slips through guardian.

Which will last a total of ~15 seconds, as Spellbreaker will run out.

Or you could cast it on a target with, say 100 armor and let them tank. Oh wait, that'd be just like monking. That's no fun.

Dont forget you can also upgrade your armor to increase the amount of energy you have... Radiant Insignias... You could also try and search for weapons and foci with higher + to energy...

Or you could always add balz spirit...
Or you can go Mesmer secondary and add Channeling...
Though I am not sure why you feel the need to tank, but if so, why not add some skills like Shield of Judgement, Zealot's fire, reversal of damage....

Channeling whas a good idea! because then you'll get energy back from casting it.. And they are many foes around so.. Perfeçt!
